I laughed and said I am unemployed and don't have that and he asked how long before I would have it.
I told him again I am unemployed and he hung up on me.
I tried calling back the 789 number that called me first and it was out of service so I called the 315number back and told the man I would be reporting him for scam and fraud.
He said you can do what u wish and proceeded to tell me I was crazy.
I said if u work for federal government u cant talk to people like that so I asked for his name, branch of government he worked for and his superior officers name and number.
He said I don't have to give you that information and said I was insane and then hung up on me.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself giving them as much grief as I could.

I've gotten more than 10 calls from these "government grant" scam people today, telling me I'm eligible for a free government grant that I don't have to pay back.
The numbers were from 281 and 369 area codes.
It sounded like the calls were being made from South or Southeast Asia.
Finally, I decided to respond to each call by saying loudly and clearly, "PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST AND DON'T CALL ME AGAIN".
Not that they necessarily even have a list or are scrupulous enough to follow it, but this approach seems to have stopped the calls from coming.
I received a call from an 804-533-7621 number.
Then I hung up.
I am sick of scammers!
I receive this phone cal Jan 16 realizing that it was probably a scam.
I told them I didn't do business over the phone.
I asked them to send me information in the mail.
Question: Was this a good solution?

No need to pay back.
Call from a 203 2530.

And I could pick it up at Walmart, Walgreens, or other places, my choice.
I didn't get to the part about having to pay for a redemption card because I searched for them and found this sight.
I kept him on the line probing for info for a bit, then gave up.
It is a little disturbing that they have my name, address, and phone, but in the information age.
So here is the phone number he called from:11202885223 earlier from 6467200053I hope someone is trying to catch these crooks.

This person sounded Indian.
I received a call earlier this afternoon from someone who spoke in an east asian language and hung-up before I could.
I hope someone is trying to catch these crooks.
Got several calls two from New York and 1 from Washington all claiming that i was being rewarded with a 11,300.
All of them had very thick accents and when I asked if this was a scam they swore and yelled at me and hung up.
Was given name of caller and a call back number.
Options given to me included: bank account, debit card, or cash to be picked up at Walmart.
I said cash and was then given a code and a call back.
Got 7 calls today claiming to be from federal government.
Could get money by giving my bank info, credit card info or cash.
Because I said cash they wanted me to 609-837-9783 and give person a code he gave me.
Call came from six fifferent area codecs.
I received a message about a government scam through messenger from one of my friends for a federal government grant through an attorney named Sharon Scott.
You are supposed to text her at 941-220-4456.
Once you text her, she asks for your name, email, address, where you work, do you own a home, car, and your monthly income.
This person cloned my friends messenger account from facebook.
If its too good to be true, its probably is!
Usual reasons for being picked out of 15000 individuals, no criminal record, good credit, good citizen.
He had a heavy accent.
After giving him my name and address, he asked me how I wanted my money.
I said cash, no bank accounts.
I was to go to a Walmart to pick it up via Western Union.
I was given the 5 digit code and another phone number to call his manager.
After speaking with the manager, he mention taxes on this payment.
I said I didn't want to pay taxes on this.
He got very upset.
I said that a professional representative would not get upset and yell on the phone.
He then hung up on me.
They will do say anything to steal from you.
Good luck and God bless America.
On, June 15, 2018 at around 1020am I received a call from a lady with a semi-noticeable accentshe did not call me by name but said she is calling from the U.

She sound exasperated and repeated," you never signed up for anything" as a statement and hung up on me.
I received several calls yesterday but was busy.
I'm now at work and it's noisy so we ended the call.
They had wrong address which was myour first clue.
For the people asking about where to report these numbers- virtually all of these scams are located in India.
Now there are massive call center that do nothing but scams, call centers that do legit tech support for one or more company in addition to running scams, and tiny operations all doing it.
Occasionally the Indian govt will raid some call center running the worst of the worst of these scams, typically the IRS scam, call centers doing anything even slightly tamer have little to worry about.
That said, there is NO government authority you can report these to that makes a lick of difference.
You can, however, report their number to scambaiting website scammer.
Short of that, you can waste their time if you are bored.
Reporting calls to scammer.
I get a lot of the same calls from washington D.
Today i receive a lot from the New York and I answer the phone and said who is this.
I forgot the lady name and she said this is the united states Federal Grants center How are you today?
I said hmmm then she reply back and said a bad language and hung up the phone and I knew it was a scammed in the first place.
How can this be reported.
I received about7 or 8 of these government grant scams just today.
The first was female with heavy accent.
When I told her I knew it was a scam, she made an obscene suggestion and hung up.
A few callers later, same scam, this time a heavily accented male.
When I told him he was a scammer he started threatening me with explicit does the government give out free grants of sexual assaults.
I put passwords free games usernames with and phone next to my white noise machine and let him rant.
He finally hung up but called back several times but I letl voice mail pick up.
He left one more threat that was recorded, then I guess tried to annoy me by punching in a lot of numbers while mine was recording.
I was both upset and annoyed by this behavior.
I keep getting calls from 827-620-1313.
Middle eastern guy saying he's from the United States grant Dept.
Calling me at 5:30 p.
I told him to stop calling me and and he just hung up.
He did not speak clear English but I tried to listened to what he had to say.
He explained I was chosen because I have paid my taxes on time every year and not filed bankruptcy in the last 6 months that is totally incorrect!
I owe back taxes.
I was given an ID MR303 a number to call 206-736-7284 To collect my free Grant Money.
He asked what stores were near me that used Western Union and advised I be prepared to follow the directions from the number I call to collect.
Please DO NOT LISTEN HANG UP or you WILL LOOSE!
The guy on the phone had an Indian accent and told me that he would transfer me to the Educational Department where I'd have to answer questions and the more accurate I answer, the more money I get.
I told him that I think he's a scammer a hung up the phone.
I also blocked this phone number from calling me in the future.
The caller stated to my wife that she is eligible to receive free government grant money since she is unemployed and paid tax on and a good citizen.
As a result of random selection, she was selected among 1,700 other "Good citizens".
She told them she would need to call them back and I her husband would them back.
So, they give her phone 518-418-7941 New York area code.
They also gave her activation code SS1142.
And I can claim it on behalf of her by going to Walmart.
I made an excuse and told them I will call him back during my break.
I truly wish these people get caught soon.
Good to everyone and please beware of these kind of scams.
The numbers 2533878146 and 253 2873945 have been calling me for last two days.
Feb-26th, 2018 and 27th.
They even game a verification code for the claim and a phone number to call them back back from the store with in an hour.
Oh my dear, stay Alert!
I never answer weird area codes or unknown numbers but today just a few hours ago.
She had a heavy accent and said her name was Brenda Miller.
Be alert and if anyone ges a call, go and research.
I knew this was too good to be true.
I was supposedly getting a Grant for 14,589 which I never had pay back.
Same thing happened with me.
Please see Ariana's comments.
Spoke to 2 gentlemen with very strong foreign accents.
One of them said his name was Travis Scott and he wanted to know how far the nearest WalMart was and if I could go today.
I told him I wasn't feeling well and could do it tomorrow.
He wants me to call him back tomorrow.
The phone call had a non American accent with strong far eastern accent.
Saying I qualified for a loyalty grant.
I was already alert.
I have received 5 of these calls in the last week.
This is so frustrating and annoying.
What needs to be done to stop this??
The guy had a strong Indian accent.
He claimed Google funded the grants or was somehow affiliated.
He also gave me a tracking number and a phone number 786 735-0742 to contact the account manager.
He said I would have to call that number as soon as possible.
So I did, the person who picked up the phone had a Indian accent underneath but was trying his best to speak English without the accent.
It was the same person.
I asked if they could send me an email.
He said that this is a legitimate call and that I even have the phone number to reach him at, the extension and his name.
So I asked his extension, 104, and his name, Mike Johnson.
He then asks me how far the nearest Walmart is.
I said 3 miles.
He asked if I was able to go to the store right now.
He asked does the government give out free grants I would be able to.
I said maybe this afternoon.
And he said okay, to just call the number before I do so.
I said okay and hung up.
This whole thing obviously a scam.
Just got a call from one of these scammers!
Same scenario as all the others.
The crooks are still out there.
The number that called me was: 263-546-6400 I RECEIVED A CALL LAST WEEK FROM A NEW YORK NUMBER I CAN QUITE REMEMBER THE NUMBER AT THE MOMENT BUT THEY PROMISED ME FREE MONEY AND TOLD ME I DIDN'T NEED TO GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO AND THAT IF I FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS THEN I WILL RECEIVE MY MONEY IN THE NEXT 10 BUSINESS DAYS.
THEY TRANSFERRED ME TO TWO OTHER PEOPLE AND TOLD ME NOT TO TELL THEM THAT I WAS PROMISED ANY MONEY.
THEY EVEN GAVE Removed ski free game boy are QUESTIONS THAT I WAS GOING TO BE ASKED AND TOLD ME HOW TO ANSWER THEM.
THAT WAS KIND OF STRANGE TO ME.
OH AND DID I MENTION I EVEN TALK TO COLLEGE SPECIALISTS.
Juat got a call about free grant money, took a tip from this page and asked them to send me a valid check.
They got mad at me and yelled and then hung up the phone, thank to this page for keeping me safe.
The number that called me was 202 854-8449 An "agent James Walker ph: 408-692-5819 called a Great Aunt of mine and she then called her friends giving his name and phone number telling them she got paid money from a "federal government grant" giving out money to low income or families that need help paying off loans.
The friend then called me.
I knew immediately this was a scam.
I am not sure what all they got from her regarding her bank account but it is definitely a scam.
free games with guns been receiving these calls lately but could never seem to keep the connection perhaps a function of the VOIP system until the other day, when I actually got to converse with the person who barely had command of English.
He went through the usual patter and asked various questions, including my name.
Then he asked me if he could have my zip code.
I responded "No, and do you want to know why?
Then I hung up, and laughed.
Just got a call from NY number 646-968-0307 on November 9, 2017.
The man on the phone had an English accent and spoke very slow.
He mention that I had a loyalty grant coming to me.
He gave me another phone number to call after verifying my zip code.
The number he gave me was does the government give out free grants also the loyalty grant code was FE 330.
So I called the number 315-333-2183, I explained over the phone the grant code and I mentioned this web site to the man about scams.
He got very angry.
I also told him that grant money you have to apply for to receive funding.
He was very angry at this point and mentions then you DONT want the money and hang up.
I never give my credit card number to someone in NY or TX both states scam people money all the time.
I just don't understand why they keep getting away with this.
Anyone know who to call in the FBI to sometime of police action for this?
The call is from southeast Asia.
Told the guy to look out his front door.
United States Treasury officials have the location and they are going to raid the location.
The guy started screaming in some dialect and he hung up.
Didn't ask for any personal info other than if I was married.
Gave me a Code "GG121", which I was to call this article source with.
So this woman with a very thick accent calls me to tell me I've been selected for a government grant for research for further business opportunities and debt consolidation as part of a new stimulus package being rolled out.
She followed up by confirming my name address and phone number and then gave me a four digit code and a phone number and said to please call them and give them the Code.
Warning signs and Sirens went off I went ahead and enter the number and do Google and found nothing but fraud complaints so I followed up and called the FTC who is in charge of these matters they took down my information advised me that it was not legitimate and just to disregard it.
Not being able to help myself because I really could use the money right now that's why I was applying for Grants but I'm not stupid enough to give anyone money to get free money and I was curious to see what kind of scam they were playing.
I called the phone then ask me in an automated voice to State my name and I would be transferred to the appropriate sector, I gave my name hairy butt cheeseburger and it said one moment please, a woman then pick up the phone answering United States Treasury Department how may I assist you.
Now I know from personal experience from actually having contacted the treasury Department that is not how they pick up the phone.
And when you do call ninety-nine out of a hundred times they need to transfer you to the correct department this woman didn't even verify the name she just asked for the four digit confirmation.
When I asked her what branch of the government her particular entity resided under I got the classic I can't hear you sir are you there are you there she just was talking through me.
Our government uses the IRS to steal money from us.
Six months later I still don't have a penny, God Bless America right?
I received a call from someone named Michael Brown, he said that I was eligible for a grant worth 9,800.
He told me that he was from the Department of Human Services with the government.
I asked him for a badge number or an id number issued by the government, but https://games-spin-money.site/free-games/casino-fruits-game-free-roulette.html pretended as if he could hardly hear me or he said that I didn't need it to call the number that was given to me by him.
The number he gave me to call was 206 456-4152.
Be careful this is a scam!!
They took all my pension and said the money will be in my bank, now all of sudden they what more money from me so bthat they can transfer the money, this is from a Federal Government Free Grant Bank in California, if it is FREE why must one pay for it, then they ask you to trust and believe in them.
Looks like they do it to people living in South Africa.
Is there not any thing that can be done about this, as I am in big trouble through them, help us please.
The man called on "unknown" then gave this number to call "The United States Treasury Department".
I mean how do they know if it's a live number.
He then asked me to verify my address.
He read off a fake address "160 Drive" and I said "yep thats it" I then asked him to send me an email and to verify his title and he got frustrated and hung up.
I had a rep call today stating her name is Deana Moore, but she sounds Asian.
She said I didn't need to do anything to get it as far as filling out paperwork and that it doesn't have to be paid back and that I was selected by a survey since I hadn't filed bankruptcy out of 1500 people.
She said the money could either be sent to me via direct deposit or cash in hand.
I told her cash in hand.
She said that I can go to a variety of stores tonouck up money, so I selected Walmart.
She gave me a number to call her supervisor so they can further explain and release the funds from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
When I asked for supervisor name, she said I can speak to whomever at that number she provided.
She gave me my confirmation.
I asked her how is it that she know that I'm the correct person that she called for, she said, "Because you said you're the person I called for.
I then said, "How do you verify I'm who I said I am without verifying personal information?
I laughed and got off the phone.
It's a group of people because it sound as if they're working in a call center.
I need with one of California Money Grants Company that have not send my money, which they say has been transferred to my bank account two weeks ago.
Well, it seems Mandy had the same pleasure of speaking to the same gentleman, And I do use that term loosely.
Before i hung up I told him thanks for playing the Game have a blessed day Just to let every know article source just got a call he said his name was Travis with Homeland Security and wanted to know if I had changed my Network recently, He wanted access to my computer and the search engine on my phone.
I made it clear that He was not getting any where near my networkHe cussed me out and called me unAmerican.
I told him from his accent he defeniatly wasn't American.
I've received these calls on numerous occasions over the past 4 months or so.
Always the same story.
I've played along with them, until the part where they are asking for personal information.
At that point, they start getting nasty.
Calling me names and saying things such as "You fucking whore", etc.
I then proceed to get just as nasty back.
I once kept one on the phone for an hour, going back and forth with him.
It appeared that he was unable to disconnect the line on his end because he kept telling me to "hang up bitch".
He threatened me, saying he was going to come to my house.
I live in the absolute middle of no where, without a physical address, so I said, oh yeah, where do I live?
He proceeded in giving me my P.
I asked him if he understood that was not a physical address and was only a box at the post office.
He didn't quite grasp that concept.
He continued to call me dirty names, demanding me to hang up.
I just kept telling him, YOU hang up.
He was so mad.
I asked him why he would work doing a scam like this and that he was a shame to his parents.
When I laughed and said he'll no, he started in with the nastiness again.
It was like talking to someone with rapid cycling bipolar!
I even told him, thank you for this entertainment because I was really bored before he called me and that I was enjoying this banter with him.
He threatened again to come to my house and rape me.
I told him, you show here and all you will get is a rifle in your face.
This went on and on and the same thing has happened several times and I do the same thing every time.
It for go spin (cricket) crossword clue nonsense! if it is a woman that calls, they don't get nasty like the men do.
I tried calling the number but get no answer so I text saying I was interested I received a text back asking who referred me I told them and haven't heard back.
How do I report them???
How do we make it stop?
I've blocked 20 numbers from them but they keep using new ones.
So I delete the oldest one on the list and add the latest one they called from.
I've done everything from told them "no thank you".
To telling them I have already received the money and thanking them, to pretending I don't speak English.
I've even asked to be removed from their calling list but every time they just hang.
Those damn camel jockeys are so stupid they keep calling back as if I'm going to change my mind and listen to thier broken English scam spiel and give them my money!????
I just got off the phone with one of these scammers.
I asked why I had to go right now and why I had to purchase an Itunes card and why can't they just send a check.
He didn't have a legitimate answer to any of my questions.
This guy's name is a Cameron Smith 202-681-9837.
They've been calling all day.
I finally answered because they won't stop calling.
They said they were calling from Click the following article Glenn Department.
I was fuming by this point.
I told them I couldn't understand them and asked why they kept calling me.
Then they hung up.
When I got off the phone and google it I realized she was saying Federal Grant Department.
If you fall for one of these scams you're a complete moron.
I reported this to the BBB Better Business Bureau.
I was contacted this evening by a Middle Eastern man telling me that the government has awarded me a free grant to further my education.
He knew my name and address, but that's it as far as I can tell.
I feel that this particular set of scammers is running mulitiple cons, as on one hand they asked me my personal info such as birth date, address, email account, etc, all of which I provided falsely.
But on the other hand, they kept trying to get me to say "yes" and "no" repeatedly, so they could record it and use it to make false charges over the phone using my voice.
I knew what they were up to, and thought I would screw with them a bit and waste their time so they weren't bothering anyone else at least.
The first man told me that I would be getting money, and needed to know what kind of does the government give out free grants I would be interested in.
After we selected several different types of degrees I would be interested in, he asked me did I want to go to school online, on campus, or both.
I told him online, and he said that he would suggest I do both because I could get more money that way I imagine he would want me to believe I should do both, so when the time came to ask me for money to go to school on campus, the need for me to pay SOMETHING would seem more reasonable.
All the while he is trying to get me to say the word "yes", and I keep responding with things like, sure, ok, you got it, affirmative, absolutely, correct, etc, and I could tell he was getting really really frustrated with me for not simply saying yes.
He told me he was about to transfer me to an education specialist, but before he did I needed to know that they were going to test me to see if I was really interested in education or if I just wanted the money.
It was strange, he said that they would ask if I had been promised anything monetary or otherwise, and if I had been coached to answer these questions, to all of which I should firmly state "No".
He also said that they will read off a list of possible fields of education and ask which I would be interested in, and that I should say "yes" after all of them, to get the most money, all while pretending I didn't know anything about any money.
It was sooo weird, he wanted to me lie to the guy who is likely sitting right beside him, about the convo we had just had, it seems such an elaborate ruse just to get me to repeat the words yes and no.
But anyway, he transferred me to another Middle Eastern guy and the same things, but this time I said everything but the word "No'' including negative, incorrect, uh uh, etc.
This guy was even more aggrivated by my noncompliance, and after I passed his "test" by saying no one promised me anything or coached me, he transferred me again.
I was on hold for a minute or two, and an AMERICAN woman answered.
I quickly hung up to see what would happen, I was hoping she wasn't part of it and perhaps after seeing that I wasn't going to do what they wanted they just transferred me to someone real, to cover their tracks.
But within 10 seconds of my hanging up, the first guy called back and asked what happened.
So, then i knew for sure the american lady was in fact in on it.
They placed me on hold again, with hold music, only I could hear faintly over the music the sounds of a call center and lots of people talking.
I figured they could probably hear me even though the hold music was on, and that it was probably only used to make it seem more legitimate and normal.
I tested my theory, while the music played I said "Oh gosh, I gotta go, the IRS just called and I have to go buy Itunes gift cards or else I will be arrested!
Are they holding you there against your will?
You should go home if not.
I think it's despicable that you found an American to do your bidding, I hoped she wasn't part of this but since you called back and not her, I know she is, shame on her!
That is slick though guys, I'll give you that.
And since I'm sure by now you can tell you are not going to be able to get me to say the correct word, I'm willing to bet you are probably done with me anyway.
They can hear you while you are on hold guys!
So if you plan on jerking them around and wasting their time so they aren't scamming someone else which is super fun by the way make sure you remember not to say anything that will give you away while on hold.
My cell number is from a different state that I live in and when they said that it was because I lived in Memphis I get this grant, when I told them I live in NY they got mad and said no no no you live in TN.
OMG how dumb can I be to not know what state I live in I tell him and he says thats ok sir, we all make mistakes.

I called back yesterday, and Christi Bell answered.
She said that would be ok, just to call her back at 202-838-7494, ext 109, before I entered the store.
I could pick up the money by going to Walmart for a money gram.
All I needed to do was call 347 309-8737 and provide code CM7253 to to other person.
I looked up scams and found this one as the person on the other end of the call was telling me he was from the Federal Government and would be sending the money from the Federal Reserve Bank in Washington.
To get the grant I had to go buy an iTunes gift card because iTunes is from the Apple company, and the Apple Company was linked with the Federal Reserve Bank.
I then called him out on the scam.
When I told him that I thought it was a scam, he gave me his "supervisors" phone number which the same number he was calling from.
Then I got a call back from a no ID number and a young man told me that this wasn't a scam.
I laughed, and he called me an arsehole, and then told me he was going to "break my teeth".

I told her to ignore those calls.
First of all you don't win grants,if you don't apply for them.
I guess it's tax refund season so every hustler out there wants to get their cut.
I thought my mum three tricky questions to quickly dispose of these callers, 1.
At least one of these questions will either make them angry or they will cut the call by themselves.
I have been receiving calls non stop up to 5 times a day from these scammers for over 2 months now.
I have blocked every number they call from and they still continue to harass me with different numbers each https://games-spin-money.site/free-games/free-boggle-game-app.html />They have now gone as far as to yell profanities at me when I tell them to stop calling.
As of today I registered my number on the Do Not Call Registry and I hope this stops the harassment!
I answered their call, wasn't doing anything at the time, and they had called many times before.
Knew my name and my address.
I hung up at this point.
By the way the women had a foreign dialect.

Not sure what they can do to me with this information?
The number was 202-789-5588 A woman I didn't know called me on FB Messenger to tell me that she saw my name on a list for a government grant.
She told me that I could text the contact at the Grant Agency at 832.
She was really sincere and sent me a picture of her holding a wad of dollar bills.
I have applied for a grant and I know the government will drown you in paper before they give you a dime and if you qualify they will send you a check with more paperwork to sign.
I told her it was a scam and "if it seems to good to be true.
So i pretended to buy them and called there bluff.
Then I was to call Bryan Smith at 646 895 6298 and give him the I was to pay a registration fee of 250 how many Western Union at Rite Aid you ever had an apple card and then I was supposed to call him back when I got to the store so he can instruct me on how to send it and where to received multiple calls from 519-749-1076 sometimes I would answer and they would just hang up before saying anything.

He also gave me an address of 915 2nd Ave Seattle, WA 98174 The Seattle Social Security office.
I started getting cals from a 347 area code number 347 748-9085 in New York.
So I called to make sure it wasn't someone I was waiting to hear, you know a legitimate call.
A girl with a strong Indian accent that I could barely understand answered.
It sounded like a high pressure sales call center in the background.
I called and asked my number be taken off their list.
This morning I received another call.
Its not that I couldn't use the money.
But my alert radar was on.
I listened to him.
Then I went online to check things out.
I wonder if they aren't targeted people in who are in a bad spot.
Especially this time of year.
Woe to those who try to take advantage.
I saw a comment from someone who click at this page child struggling with cancer.
They were taken in by this.
I felt I needed to post something, in the hopes that I can prevent someone being taken in by this.
I am not sure how the rest of the scam works.
I did not call them back.
These people will get what's coming to them several times over!!.
While I am thankful that I wasn't taken in by it, I am saddened and appalled that there are those that are in severe need that may be taken in.
I continue to get calls at a rate of 3-4 an hour at times.
It just started yesterday and has continued into today.
Not answering the calls don't seem to work so I have started answering them all and getting them to hang up, maybe it will get my number out of there system if I keep doing it.
Probably not I don't know how to stop the calls because they keep coming from different numbers.
One even said Egypt for crying out loud.
Most were Washington DC though.
If someone you know is someone who's job is to uphold the law call them with them by their side If they can, then get binweevils login free call encrypted, so they can't draw the money read more your phone subscription trace the caller's position and stop it from there.
He asked me if I had a debit card or prepaid card and told him I did not and said I could pick it up via Western Union or Money Gram red flag.
He knew my name, phone number, address.
I said this is hard to believe because the government doesn't give money away.
I took name number and the details for reference.
The phone number shown was 202.
I received a call from 360-111-0000.
The caller had a thick Indian accent already a red flag.
Been getting these calls almost weekly now.
Last week it was about my computer being infected with a virus.
They said I could have it direct deposited into my bank or wired via Western Union, Moneygram, etc.
I chose Western Union.
They then gave me another number to call 360-667-5014 along with a confirmation number.
By this time, I got tired of stringing them along so I didn't call.
I ask for a return phone number or ask them to take me off of their call list.
I keep getting multiple phone calls from them every day.
Some times it shows a phone number and sometimes it shows "Unknown" or "No Caller ID".
Asked if i wanted it sent moneygram or western union.
It was a number that appeared to be from Washington DC and the women was Indian.
I asked her how I could know that it wasn't a scam.
She got frustrated and hung up on me.
She knew my name, address and obviously my phone number.
This number 202 670 0255 just tried to scam me saying I was approved for a government grant of 9,800 n I needed to pay 250.
The numbers i got from them were 202.
I didnt get the names of the people that called but it just sounded like a scam to me, seeing as how i hadnt applied for any grants.
It sounds pretty fishy to me Someone called about the grant.
He said his name was Xlvier Cooper and he called from this 2027807284 and stated that he was from Washington D.
I don't know if they will steal any information from me I'm so scared!
I've received this same call 3 times in 1 week.
I got one this morning and they are persistant.
I have yet to call them back with my gov.
Where can you report these calls as they must stop.
I have reported 4 IRS scams already; now grants?
What has become of this country to allow such rip-off artists to steal someones hard earned money.
I received a phone call yesterday again telling me to call a phone number, so I recorded the conversation and was even given permission by he scam artist to upload the video I made to youtube.
Warning, graphic language please use discretion and don't allow minors to listen to this video or audio.
Deposited to my bank or by Western Union?
When I said "Western Union " that was repeated and then I was told to call A 202-810 number and give a 2 letter and 3 number ID as soon as he hung up.
I gave no personal info what so ever other than to verify my name at the beginning of the call.
I did not make the call as I felt it was some kind of scam especially when I tried reverse and received a "NO MATCH".
I told link I'll wait for a better offer.
I told them to call me when its 50k.
I just got my phone call too today the telephone number that they are using is 425-245-5109 they will argue with that they are the federal government and that they are for real.
I told her that I would not send them any money or go get a ITUNES card for my verification of the funds.
They said I need to go get a ITUNES card and call them with this number and then the money will be refunded to me that it is not going to be used only for verification purposes.
I wish there was a way that we could trace there call and put a stop to this cause they call on all my cell phones and my home number too and I work from home and it is all day everyday that this continues and goes on.
I would be will to do what I can to help so if anyone out there has any ideas I would be glad to help to end all of this madness.
CALLS DAILY, ALL DAY AND WEEKENDS!!!
HATE THESE NUMBERS, WITH A PASSION: 425-372-5303 425-372-5305 So what happens if you don't give them your account number and go with the "cash in hand" option?
I didn't give https://games-spin-money.site/free-games/strategy-war-games-iphone-free.html any information.
I verified my name, and that I have a job.
Got the Grant Approval Code and the phone to her boss at the US Treasury.
I work in a scam company grant in India.
I used to tell my customer that it's a scam dnt believe just hang up the phone.
The person asked for my address and I gave them the a address.
I asked how do i know that this is not a scam or that you are a not a robber He proceeded to tell me that I am going to give you a number to call to get your money.
He said I will give you an address in New York.
I asked where are you located and he stated that they were in Washington, D.
I called the umber and someone answered the phone and does the government give out free grants government grants.
I pulled up on the computer government grants and found the exact wording that they were saying.
I gave them this number that was given to me and the person put someone else on the phone.
He asked me to turn the tv down and I said that its not a TV.
I am looking on the computer to see if this is a scam.
He became very angry and said if you think this is a scam don't waste my time or yours and hung up the phone.
If this had been for real, the government would have tried to explained to me, gave me a website to go to and would not click to see more for money in order for me to get money.
This is the second phone call that I received.
I received a call again from a male possibly from India super hard to understand.
I didn't have caller Id so unknown what number he called from.
He gave me a two letter and three number code probably if they get a call back with this code they get a bonus and the call back number was 202-930-0203.
BUT, I had to call back to that number as soon as I hung up from him.
He tried to get my middle name and age at two separate times during the call.
I told him I do not give out that over the phone.
I also said I would use it for College.
Oh, Lord, I can't even remember my grocery list when I go to the store, how would I ever be able to learn and remember in college.
I asked where this "free money" was coming from and he said "U.
I asked him what state the number I would be calling was in.
He stated Washington, DC.
Especially students who HAVE put in for grants and loans and such.
They are targeting the 18-23 population heavily.
Too bad the government can't get them.
Guess scammers are way hong kong free games than ALL of our politicians put together.
I received check this out call stating that I won a grant for 9700.
All I had to do to get the grant was to give him my free game com information.
I told him that I didn't have an account.
He then told me to go to Walgreens, CVS or Walmart where there was a western union.
I started to play along.
I went out front of a walgreens told him I was inside, he got nervous sounding and told me to go back outside.
He transferred me to his account manager who I was rude to and kept asking questions, he was getting so frustrated.
Told me I shouldn't be wasting his time and why was I being so rude when he was giving me free money.
I told him that it was a scam and that I had been scammed before.
He swore up and down that it was not.
He told me that I would have to buy a 250.
They needed the account code on the back of the card.
They are calling from a hospital in Washington DC and the other numbers that they gave me are games to steam free Florida and California.
Be very careful not to fall for this scam.
Well, I just got called TWICE from Washington D.
He asked me if I had any quetions and I asked what government agency was giving out the grant, and he said the US Federal Government Grants Department loyalty program.
He knew my name, my number, and luckily my old address, and gave me the number 202-754-9924 to call the account manager that would process my payment either through Moneygram, Western Union, CVS or Walgreens wth?
Oh, but the only condition was that I needed to spend the money in something good!
LOL :-P Sounds familiar?
Uncle Sam doesn't give money away like that!
Don't fall for it!
Beware of scammers, they're getting too much info in this digital age!
Just received this same scam call.
They told me to get to a western union.
Kevin Harris called from Bay City, TX, phone 979-318-4848 and told me to call the US Account Department at 979-318-4846 with ID NU940.
He called back and I told him I gave his information to the US scam department and that he was in grave danger of a terrible eternity for how he was treating people.
He asked how I knew it was a scam and I said it was obvious to everyone - he hung up.
And it seems to me that they use multiple numbers to do this.
Sometimes they will also call from "Unknown" numbers so be careful out there!
If they ask for any card number or account information DON'T DO IT!
I asked for cash or check and they simply couldn't do it.
So for anyone seeing this, try not to be gullable no matter how good it sounds.
Have a good day.
I just got the free grant call.
I can only use it for good not criminal acts such as buying drugs.
Gave me a ID SR143 and a phone number for manager caa back of 425-245-5109.
They have call my number for months leaving me voice messages to call them about this grant.
read more, I haven't called the mgr number.
They really need to be stopped.
I was provided another number to call to collect my grant which I will not be calling 646-712-8126.
They knew my city and zip code and email address.
I asked questions about the money suddenly she could not hear me.
It was a scam.
Except, instead of a check it was be a wire transfer to my debit card.
I'm not sure how they'd scam that money off a gift card but I definitely was about to find out the hard way.
I asked him why I had to buy a gift card if the government was just going to give me a grant, he had no real answer.
But really was pushing me to go buy that card so I could collect my 14k.
I just received a call from some woman who sounded Indian.
She then gave me a confirmation number and a number to call and ask for james Allen who's supposedly ahead of everything and so I was curious so I called the number back.
When I asked to speak to him there was a lot of noise in the background which was automatically a red flag for me.
Because no place professionally should sound like that.
So anyway I spoke to the guy and he was asking me my social and all then he told me to go to a Walmart or some place to get a card so I can receive the money.
I didn't give him any information at all.
I know for a fact nothing I'm america is free let's start there.
Plus in america places like IRS and stuff like that don't even bother calling you 20times a day and they would send a legit letter to you.
So this is fraud written all over it.
They said when I was in the parking lot to call 253 -204-7966 Sam Adams Money gram Reference number- 19815961 And ask for Henry smith.
I just recived a phone call.

I was to call back when I arrived at the store and I would be walked through the whole transaction.
This would take half an hour and I would receive a money gram for the grant and my deposit.

I have received two calls from the Government Grant Https://games-spin-money.site/free-games/tripeaks-free-arcade-games.html in the past two months.
Both times the caller ID says "Unknown", which is my first red flag.
The other is that they call on a Saturday morning.
I don't know of any government agency that works on a weekend, except the USPS.
One trick I like to use on these calls is to tell them that I work there too and "gee what a clever scam we have going".
They get flustered and hang up.
I got a call today saying I was approved for 9,000 for a grant.
The guy that called me said his name was Ryan Fuller, and he worked for the U.

Sounded good, so I listened.
Just have a job!
First, Ron Adams said I needed a verification fee of 175.
Next a "red flag" on my bank account https://games-spin-money.site/free-games/1000-free-racing-games.html I needed to send 200.
The online bank I use only allowed 4999.
So to send it via moneygram I needed to send them 240.
Then they needed 340.
All of the fees went to individuals like David Brien May, Barbara Lucas, Perry Crenshaw and a couple of others.
After following all of their instructions to the letter I still did not receive one red cent and you can totally forget about a refund.
Do not talk to these people.
They are experts at making it sound business like.

With that, he started to unload on me with some of the foulest talks I've ever heard.
I sent him a few nice words and hung-up.
What I want to know is there any way to stop them from calling, or is there somewhere we can report them to.

The woman proceeded to get me to verify information she already had, this woman accurately had my name, number, and address in front of her.
I then was given a grant ID confirmation number of A123.
Which I had to give to a woman named "Emma Green" when I called.
I needed to call Emma immediately at 202-657-4167 so that she could distribute the money in either my bank account, by check, gift card, or western union.
Just so that I could see how much these scammers are trying to charge for this amazing gift so I could put mahjong free games ws in this reviewI called the number back.
